Rebecca has been a Certified Information Privacy Professional for the last decade and has been in the trenches with clients helping them solve complex data governance challenges.
Rebecca speaks frequently on these topics to groups like the Association of Corporate Counsel, IAPP, PrivSec, Data Protection World Forum and Today's General Counsel. Rebecca manages strategic partnerships with legal service providers and works closely with law firm partners.

He is responsible for the company’s Records Retention Schedule and is working to modernize Xcel’s approach to IG and RIM. He has 45 years of experience in Records Management & Retention, eDiscovery, Litigation Support, and ECM related technologies. Over his career, he has managed records programs in a variety of industries. Bill has a MSL in Organizational Ethics & Compliance from the University of St Thomas and is a Certified Records Manager.

Beth is currently a Global Records and Information Management Program Manager for Medtronic PLC. Beth joined Medtronic as the lead eDiscovery Manager in November 2008 focusing on managing eDiscovery costs as well as developing and documenting eDiscovery processes and procedures. Beth as part of the MDT team, used innovative automation to create an eDiscovery program that is recognized in the legal industry as “Best in Class.”
Beth now provides internal consulting services to the eDiscovery team and is also the Legal liaison to Medtronic’s IT organization. In the liaison role, Beth effectively translates legal and technical requirements – serving as a bridge to ensure technology and applications are implemented meeting compliance, legal and regulatory requirements. Beth leverages her broad and deep partnerships with IT to facilitate discussions across the organization with respect to information governance efforts, while mitigating risk with respect to implementation of new business technologies including cloud solutions and social media.
Prior to joining Medtronic, Beth was a Senior eDiscovery project manager for Merrill Corporation where she planned and managed large eDiscovery matters for major law firms and large corporate clients. In addition, Beth has 30+ years legal industry experience working as paralegal and senior paralegal for such firms as Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly LLP and Robins Kaplan LLP.
