SYNOPSIS:

We would like to invite you to attend the upcoming MALSP Chapter meeting on June 15th sponsored by Exterro. During the meeting you will hear from a panel of experts as they discuss “The Convergence of E-Discovery, Information Governance, Data Privacy.” Learn about existing and emerging data retention & deletion obligations, the risks of failing to operationalize retention and deletion rules and walk away with tools & tips to create a more collaborative process for teams to work together.

Director of Strategic Partnerships - Exterro

An Exterro veteran of almost 30 years, Rebecca works with Legal, IT, Compliance and Privacy professionals, along with their outside counsel, to accelerate compliance and mitigate risks in the areas of Data Privacy, Data Retention, Data Inventory/Mapping, Data Breach, E-Discovery & Digital Forensics - helping clients with complex data governance challenges. A frequent speaker for ACC, IAPP and other industry groups, Rebecca manages strategic partnerships with legal service providers for Exterro and works closely with law firm partners.

Lisa Ellingson, CIPP/US, CIPM, Counsel - Winthrop & Weinstine

Lisa is Co-Chair of the firm's Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice group. She focuses on issues that arise in complex technology disputes, assisting clients with data privacy and cybersecurity issues, including compliance and incident responses.

John Sellner, E-Discovery Counsel and Practice Support Manager - Winthrop & Weinstine

John assists clients with implementing data retention policies that strike a balance between the risk inherent in preserving historical documents and electronic data, regulatory compliance, and costs. He ensures the legal defensibility and privacy compliance of all aspects of E-Discovery including collection, processing, review, and production.

Linnea Solem, CIPP/US/C, CIPM, FIP, CEO and Founder of Solem Risk Partners

As a former Chief Privacy Officer and VP of Risk/Compliance, Linnea helps both public and non-profit clients navigate the risk landscape with confidence. She works with Executive Management on data privacy, public company controls and service provider relationships. She is also an instructor in the area of third-party risk.
