Join us as we delve into the world of legal holds! Legal holds are incredibly important considering how much communication data we create every single day. With communication data piling up across many different platforms it is critical to wrangle custodians early and consider all the data that may be out there.

Please join us on Thursday to discuss legal holds and how they have evolved over the years.

PANELISTS:

Steve Hartwig - Owner & Founder, CTEQ Data Consultants

Got his start in eDiscovery at the very beginning - early 2000’s. Even before that, he worked in a law firm, Fetterly & Gordon as a Lit Support Manager, before there were Lit Support Managers.

Worked with Summation & Concordance databases; Managed several large document databases in those days; Learned what it was like to be on the user side of the table.

In 2002, started the digital arm of K&B in Minneapolis. Went from a broom closet and desks made out of cardboard boxes to a large production facility and 85 employees in a few short years.

10 years later, Steve started C-TEQ from the ground up.

Tony Barrows

Tony has more than 13 years of applied practical experience in the eDiscovery field, as both a practicing attorney and senior litigation technologies advisor. He has experience in both the vendor and law firm arenas and has operated at every phase of the EDRM on large-scale cases involving terabytes of data. He has served on a number of CLE panels involving ESI review and production and has extensive experience working with legal teams to collect, cull and present a wide range of data sources defensibly and efficiently. In his current position as COO of C-TEQ, Tony oversees all aspects of the company’s litigation support services, including database management and ESI processing.
