February MALSP Meeting

TOPIC: Leveraging ALSP Resources

During this session we will be sharing highlights from the 2019 Alternative Legal Service Providers study completed by the Thomson Reuters Legal Executive Institute in collaboration with Oxford and Georgetown Universities, which can be downloaded here.

David Curle and our own Dayna Munsch will lead a discussion around how Alternative Legal Service Providers have become a well-established part of the legal landscape. This biannual study, produced by Thomson Reuters in partnership with Georgetown Law’s Center for the Study of the Legal Profession and Oxford’s Said School of Business, looks at the many ways law firms and corporate legal departments are leveraging the resources that ALSPs provide. The report identifies the various types of ALSPs in the market, the types of services they are offering, and their clients’ changing attitudes about ALSP’s strategic fit with their own practices.

This panel will be a continuation of the discussion led by David Curle at Legal Tech NY.
