TOPIC: Text Analytics Tools in Discovery: How They’re Built and How to Wield Them This is an interactive performance art approach on how computers understand documents. Our meeting room will be transformed into a text analytics machine to give you an inside view on what computers know. See how predictive coding really works from the inside out and learn to deploy and defend cost-saving machine learning.
PRESENTER:
Bill Ryan, Solutions Consultant, OpenText Discovery
Bill has spent over three decades in complex document management including sales and consulting for: SEC Filing Services, Virtual Data Rooms and, for the last twelve years, discovery services for litigation, investigations and regulatory enforcement. He concentrates on advanced approaches to unstructured data for quick retrieval of relevant information through analytics-based investigation and predictive coding.
Bill served on the eDiscovery Subcommittee of the Commercial Litigation Committee of the Chicago Bar Association. He serves on the Technology Project Team of the 7th Circuit Council on eDiscovery and Digital information.
Bill is Axcelerate Certified, a Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) and a Relativity Certified Sales Professional (RCSP).
